Eduardo Kohn is a professor of anthropology at McGill University in Montreal. He is the author of "How Forests Think: Towards an Anthropology beyond the Human," in which he "challenges the very foundations of anthropology, calling into question our central assumptions about what it means to be human—and thus distinct from all other life forms."
